Durable pieces that snap together easy

My grandsons were excited to get this. We have a family friend that joined the military recently. My grandsons like to pretend that they are in the military. This has functional pieces so it helps with creative play. It was easy to assemble. It has durable pieces that snap together easily.

Good value for the price

Not a bad kit at all for the price. The parts are decent quality, no malformed or excessively warped pieces, and they hold together well (if anything, some of the pieces hold together perhaps a bit TOO tightly). Certainly not Lego quality, but off-brand ricks never are. One thing to note is that the pictures here, on the bucket, and in the instructions all show the parts in olive green, but the actual pieces in the kit are a very dark green.

PERFECT! Great rival to legos!

Awesome! Alot like legos, when you look at the picture instructions they are a bit more complicated than lego. By thag i mean not EVERY STEP is drawn out on a separate page. Some things are blocked together. That being said, the color is light up on the part you need to put on next and the part that was already put on turns colorless, this makes it easier to understand than lego sometimes! A lot easier to catch when you make a mistake too! It takes up less paper, every item (like car or building) is on 1 page but simple to follow. There are alot of bags because the one I ordered was 8 in 1 package. I liked it because when lego says 3 in 1 you have the choose 1 to kake at a time. This one makes ALL at one time!! The bags are not numbered so you have to guess qhich is which, but it isn't hard. There is always one noticeable piece that sticks out when looking. It would also work if you just emptied everything, but then you'd have to dig for the smaller pieces. I color code evrything anyway so it is easier. I will be buying from this seller again! I love these legos and my son loves them even more!! He wants to police set now!

Great alternative to Legos

My son has LOTS of Legos, and loves them, but he has recently been interested in military vehicles, which Lego doesn't make. We found these and they are a pretty good alternative to Lego. The directions are not quite as clear and take a little getting used to, but once you have gone through a few steps you figure it out quickly. What's nice about this set is that it makes several different vehicles, along with one larger item. For someone who loves to play with his Legos after building them, this set is great. My son is 8 and had no problem building them. They are more simplified than Lego sets, but for the money, it is a great deal.
