Police Truck Catch Thief

My kids has a lots of fun with this set. As it come with lots of small bags and one bag for one kind of car, we were able to build it a little by little. You don’t need to build the whole thing on one time, so my kids can build different apart by themselves. Great gift for kids.

My kiddos love the police and love legos - what better combo than to build this mobile command center with a motorcycle. The pieces were easy enough for my 5 year old to put together without complications and the individual kits were small enough where they didn’t get distracted and could finish each piece in one setting.
The building blocks are compatible with the name brand legos - so when they break in pieces or they “embellish and build bigger” - everything works with additional blocks from other sets.

Lots of little pieces. Fun for the kids. Would be a higher star if a case to store. Made in China.

This is a good set once built, it’s substantial and affordable. However it’s definitely not as easy and doesn’t go together as easily as lego. The instructions are all on one big page which makes it difficult for kids to follow, definitely need adult supervision, intervention and assistance for this one. Overall a great savings and set, with a little more difficulty than I would of liked.

My sons love watching Paw Patrol, Octonauts, and other similar helping-out shows, and always like to check out the police and their cars, so getting a LEGO-like set with a both a police truck and motorcycle was really cool for them. It's disappointing that there aren't any minifigs that come with it, but they enjoy it all the same, and is fully compatible with existing LEGO too. The instructions are much more compact that what LEGO provided, which we actually like. My son says it is a better challenge to figure out how the pieces go together and says LEGO instruction are boring because they are too easy. I like that they waste less paper and it makes it easier to see many steps ahead. I'm not sure if this is normal, but our box came with a LOT more weapons than what are shown in the preview pictures and quite a few extra pieces too. My son had fun trying to fit them into the truck and trailer in different areas.

Pros:
+ clear, concise instructions on a single piece of paper
+ interoperable with common LEGO
+ pretty easy build for 6yr old
+ lots of extras

Cons/improvements:
- no included minifigs to play with
- the truck-trailer connector isn't well-enforced and sags a bit
